Y Stainless Steel Strainer is a cost effective option for use in any type of industrial application, especially in applications where corrosive medias are used. Versatile Y configuration, wide range of sizes, and durable stainless steel construction allow for many different applications. Body, cap, and plug are made from stainless steel to ensure reliability in harsh conditions. Seal is constructed of PTFE to ensure long service life. Stainless steel strainer provides excellent filtration to help prevent damage to valves, meters, etc. from rust and dirt, without sacrificing high flow characteristics.

Our Y Stainless Steel Strainer are specially designed to remove unnecessary solid liquids, gases or vapors through a wire mesh filter. They can be used in high heels, meters, control valves, steam traps, and regulators.

This Y Stainless Steel Strainer product is designed to be used at the end of suction pipework, either on it's own or in conjunction with a Check Valve as a Foot valve Strainer, to protect the pump (or similar) from any large pieces of foreign matter or debris from entering the pipework system.
